Public Transport

Rail
The nearest station with a regular train service is Hanborough (London Paddington to Worcester and Hereford service via Oxford).  From the station, walk up to the main road, cross and go left towards the village. Take the first right into Park Lane. Walk to the end of the road, then continue onto the public bridleway across a field. At the river, turn left to the road, cross the bridge and walk to the Mill driveway on the left. (Total distance approx. 2 km.)

Bus
Stagecoach service S7 (Oxford – Witney) passes through Long Hanborough. Alight at Wynford House stop. Walk to the Methodist church (corner of Riely Close) then turn right onto the public footpath opposite. Walk across two fields to the road. Cross the bridge over the river and walk to the Mill driveway on the left. (Total distance approx. 1 km.)

Cycling
The Mill is a three minute ride from National Cycle Network Route 442 (Honeybourne to Long Hanborough) which follows the Evenlode valley. In Long Hanborough turn north into Millwood End for Combe. Bear right on to Swan Lane. After crossing the river, you will find the mill driveway on the left before the railway bridge.

Walking
The Mill is well connected to the public footpath network and Blenheim Estate permissive paths, see the Community Map .

FOR YOUR SAFETY – it is not recommended to walk down Swan Lane from Long Hanborough. This is a busy road with no pavement for walkers. Instead see directions for arriving by bus.

By Road

From A4095 Witney to Woodstock road. In Long Hanborough turn north into Millwood End for Combe. Bear right on to Swan Lane. After crossing the river, you will find the mill driveway on the left before the railway bridge.
